(no subject)
i am sitting in my 20th century poetry class right now. i walked in late because i was having printing difficulties. the first paper is due today and i did it on william b. yeats' leda and the swan. i don't know much about poetry and i honestly dont usually enjoy it; however, if i put the work into it, i find myself pleasantly surprised.
this semester is going by extremely well. i really enjoy every single one of my class. yes, my 20th century is quite boring because we never have discussions, but i feel like it's good for me. how would it look if i graduated as an english major and couldn't hold a conversation about sonnets, or yeats, or dickinson, or any one of those famous peoplez? i love learning czech. german is going better than any other german class i've had. i'm gaining back the confidence i lost in speaking it. my multimedia class is easy, yet enjoyable and a refreshing addition to the rest of my schedule. magazine publishing is extremely practical.
