Seven Virtues was fun. Here are a few particularly interesting highlights.
I was late coming to the Grace Deep Mastery module so I was drafted into the back end of it. After discovering that there was no way to sneak around unseen in the party setting, the other PC and I sat at the back of the room discussing options. Eventually we were kicked out by the host. Our last resort option was to grab the box and run so he created a distraction while I opened the door and grabbed the locked box off the fireplace mantle. I may well have said "yoinks" as I grabbed the box and ran up the hill as fast as I could.
Violet continues to maintain her reputation for being a font of random ancient artifacts and this pleases me so much. I really enjoyed the look on
minervaish's face when I pulled the Crown of Torheim out of my bodice. Violet Scalfaro, walking museum. It was very difficult not to giggle when the newly crowned Empress showed up on Sunday.
The angsty family module was interesting but also kind of weird because Violet is such a calm character. The extremely awkward conversation at the Scarthan vote was fun.
The Vortican auction on Sunday was just amazing. There were points when I couldn't stop laughing. I rather wish I had put myself up for auction just to see what happened. I had my own little neat encounter there anyway though.
