With her shift finally over for the day Lily grabbed her bag from behind the counter, flashed a farewell smile at her boss, and headed outside.
Walking in Coruscant was an experience like no other, one that the young witch still wasn't entirely comfortable with. The buildings soared what felt like miles aboveground, walkways slung between them at intervals. As precarious as she felt while walking them, she still wasn't quite used to the technology enough that she wanted to trust a speeder or some other sort of floating vehicle. Still, she was familiar enough with the way now that she felt comfortable in tugging out her datapad from her bag, skimming through her messages and pulling up various news posts and other bits and pieces of information she'd picked up during her time here.
The Force guided her around the throngs of people, not that she really needed the help - the datapad may not have been quite like a book, but she'd spent a lifetime threading her way through crowds with her nose buried in them. Still, with so many people pressing in on her, the comfort of this new power was appreciated. She was on the verge of stepping around someone else, when a wave of familiarity abruptly slammed into her. She came to a sudden stop, head jerking up instinctively to see what it was that merited her attention in such a way, and it was then that she caught sight of him. Taller, darker, and somehow even more intensely dramatic, but still unmistakeably him, mere feet away.
Lily's eyes narrowed slightly as she she quickly closed the gap between them, her irritation almost a physical presence around her. "I've a bone to pick with you, Severus Snape."
