[ Peter had been at the center of it all. Getting his ass kicked by Peter was what goaded him on. So, if he could do this, if he could beat the shit out of Peter, that would make it okay somehow. That was the arbitrary goal he'd set for himself. All the people were stepping stones. He was leveling up, basically.

But Nathan, that was a personal matter. It wasn't enough to make Peter dead, he had to make him dead inside first. :) And since he couldn't (and wouldn't) make Claire the horsehead in his bed, he had to settle for second best -- Nathan.

Tron and Simon's powers were still proving to be incredibly useful grabs, enabling him to slip into the Senate Chambers undetected (again) and make himself comfortable in Nathan's office until he decided to grace him with his presence. He might be rifling through his shit, too. Sylar can't be left alone with anyone's personal belongings.]

[De ja freaking vu. Nathan freezes when he walks in to see this. Why is his life so hard]

[Nope. Sylar takes a seat on his desk like a sexy internchan coming to seduce him even though he is the opposite of that.]

Before I kill you I want to have a little chat, Senator. Because I just don't understand it. You were given everything. You have so much, but you try to hide the part of you that makes you the most special. I saw the broadcast, when everyone was projecting their thoughts. You were ashamed of what you let slip. Why?

Other people don't see 'different' as special. They see it as different, and different's something very few of them trust.

Only because they're afraid. They want to destroy what they don't understand. But they don't have to be. Not here, anyway. We're not any different from Jedi, and they're revered. If you were actually good for anything, you'd work toward making people here understand that.

[He shrugs.]

That's not why I want to kill you, though. This is more of a me and Peter thing.

The Jedi aren't revered by everyone. A lot of people hate them, fear them, same as they would us. The government doesn't like that they can't control them, but they don't have a way to force their compliance so they have to keep peace with them. [Yeah, have all these ... governmental feelings no one likes to talk about publicly]

What does this have to do with Peter?

That? Nothing. [He gets up off the desk so he can circle Nathan like a handsome shark. ] I just have this thing with Peter, you know? He takes what I want, I take what he wants. And anyone with eyes can see how much he cares. [With that, he reaches out and puts his hand against Nathan's throat, force draining him. He didn't need the physical contact, but he preferred it anyway.]

[Why are there so many handsome sharks in this game? It's an epidemic. Nathan hates all of them, coincidentally.

Anyways, Nathan gets uncomfortable hearing Sylar talk about his 'thing' with Peter, because of his many too Italian feelings.

But not as uncomfortable as he is when all that energy comes leaking out of him. It's red white and blue, I just decided. His mouth drops open and he grabs at Sylar's arm trying in vain to yank it away...]

Yeah that is ineffective. He freezes him with telekinesis after that, because apparently he can't just politely die. >:( Nom nom nom Force energy. It tastes even more delicious because it's Nathan. S-so close to Peter, and yet so far ... ]
