The instant he'd seen the reports of riots, he'd gone to the window and opened the shutters, peering down to the streets far below to see the tell-tale signs of a mob. He felt ashamed for having not heard it or noticed it before, but the more rational side of his processor told him that he'd been disoriented ever since he'd woken up that morning without his connection to the Force. It was forgivable if he had a momentary lapse in sensory registry.
That didn't mean that he would sit idly by while the riots rushed around, wreaking havoc and endangering others. He had to ensure that the rudimentary locks that held the doors closed were reinforced and that there were no chances they would have of getting in short of blasting it down.
But that was easier said then done, when his connection to the Force was gone and he was still learning the basic skills required to be a proper User from Flynn. What it ended with was him crouching by the door panel, metal control plate pulled out of the wall and a multitool held in his teeth as he stared at the intricate parts.
"Flynn, could use a little help in here, if you don't mind!" Users, this was all an incomprehensible jumble to him, without the ability to feel the Programs that lived inside of it. You'd have to excuse him if he sounded a little harried.
