Things had been quiet as of late. Aside from the strange thought-projection occurrence, there hadn't been anything negative that had happened in the past couple of weeks, and that gave Tron a chance to relax, if only somewhat. That led his thoughts to other things. Other things to worry about, other questions he had that still went unanswered, and ideas that began cropping up in his mind.
What had happened to Sam? Everyone assumed that if one of the Outworlders disappeared, it was because they went back home. Was it true for the User? And if it was, was he alright, back on the Grid? He knew what happened only up to a point. What occurred after his own memories of home ended were anyone's guess. And that was what terrified him.
He'd crawled out onto the roof of the apartment complex that night, wanting fresh air and a chance to enjoy the night sky with all of it's glittering stars that reminded him so much of home. Kevin had mentioned helping him with the droid pieces he'd collected a while back, so he'd brought them along, just in case. It was as nice a place for the task as any. And it would give him a chance to focus on the scrambled, terrified Program he could sense inside the electronic workings of the droid from his first apartment. It was always there, niggling at the edge of his senses, confused and disoriented from what he could tell. But it seemed stable, at least. It gave him hope that it could be helped.
He settled into a meditative posture, his legs crossed in front of him and his back straight, and made the gesture of the User-believers in front of himself before softly whispering the invocation of the old Encom system. He knew that he was in the world of the Users now, and that there was no way of communicating between this and their real world, but it had always worked in his systems to help bridge the gap between the Digital and User worlds. Maybe...maybe it would help Alan-one hear him, now. It was as good a guess as any.
He sent a silent prayer to the heavens, praying to his Creator for Sam's safety wherever he was, praying that Alan-one would keep him safe when he returned to that world and watch over him the way he apparently had for so many years, and then he settled into a light meditation, reaching out with his thoughts to the droid piece to try and ease the confusion of the Program inside with his own attempts at drawing peace for himself, and did his best to set his own mind at ease.
