[It's usually just the three of them on a team, but Shepard's got the foresight to believe that all of them would have better luck together than to go in with only two others for backup.
But deeper than that, Shepard knew the real reason is that she's desperate to keep them all together. Together and safe. It was bad enough to watch Joker die the first time, see the disease take hold, but having to do it herself, needing to take him out before he hurt anyone else... It's something she's never prepared for. So it comforted her to see their faces--even Kaidan's--staring back at her as she paces slightly, fingers gripping her gun.
She pauses, glancing over her shoulder to look at the building they were about to enter. It wasn't anything knew, nothing they haven't done before. She turns back, gives them a grim smile.]
You know the objective. This is where the bombs were made, according to the sources Garrus and Thane tracked down. We've got to get in, get the information downloaded, and get out. Hell, if they've got a convenient list of members, we should grab that as well.
[Her gaze flickers over to Jack.] Think you can get the front doors?
