{WAREHOUSE 1-C} // Spike, Beck, Zekk slayerdom September 13 2011, 23:26:15 UTC
The C-team gets the hardest mission. Mostly, because Buffy knows she can count on them to deal with the security long enough to actually carry it out. Once they've diverged from the main group, their job is to scour the building. Raiding lockers, surfing computers, requisitioning datapads and hard copies of shipping orders and other incriminating files. But, of course, that means they have the most moving to do. And, it also means they have the most nasties to run into on the way.

Careful, boys and girls. It's pretty dark in there. You wouldn't want something to crawl out and bite you.

Spike's got his lightsaber out, though it's not on right now. He's sure danger will appear at any moment, and though he isn't exactly scared, he's definitely on guard. Mysterious warehouse run by nasty people. You know how it is.

They reach the first room and he holds up a hand for quiet. He can't hear anything unusual. He cautiously pushes the door open and looks around. For now, the room is clear.

"All right. We'll start here. Let's start looking. Five minutes, if you can get through everything in that time. Don't stop to read, no matter how interesting, we can look through whatever we get later, all right?"

Zekk nods, his lightsaber coming on with the characteristic snaphiss that he's been accustomed to for over a decade now. "Grab and run is the strategy then?" There are worse ones and there isn't really time to be too thorough here. Any evidence is good evidence.

Carefully, he slides the orange blade into the lock of the nearest locker, waiting for it to swing open. Medpac, credit chip, datapad.

"It's too dark to really read anything anyway." And it likely wouldn't make sense to her, so Beck's just going to grab anything that looks like it will be particularly helpful.

The plan sounds easy, in theory, but she knows things rarely go according to theory. Her vibro-sword in one hand is a small comfort; she's more ready to resort to fire if anything happens. Whatever she has to do to not let anybody down.

"There'll be time to read later on. This stuff's hardly top priority anyway, compared to the cure." Spike is rummaging through a different locker, though he's not bothering to use his lightsaber. Superstrength is useful like that. "But then again, taking these wankers down'll be fun."

Zekk snorts, glancing over at Spike. "They're both equally important. If they can create one catastrophe, they can create more, given more time. Hatred doesn't just disappear." Though he can't help but agree that the cure is top priority. If they can get it, it means he can get Jaina off Korriban.

He opens up a plasteel cylinder, rummages through the items and finds nothing of particular use.
