Around the corner from where she had bundled Severus up into some sort of blanket cocoon, Lily leaned against the wall and closed her eyes. They were running out of time, she knew, and Malak's offer was looking more and more tempting. To be honest, Lily didn't know if she could sit here and watch her friend slowly die, knowing that the answer to saving him was right there, and she wasn't taking it.
But there were other things to take into consideration. Isolde, and the Alliance, and the fact that Bellatrix Lestrange was running around unchecked. Lily opened her eyes, and walked back around the corner with a tired smile on her face. "All right, what's next?" Maybe they could find a cure on their own, before it became too late.
