Mostly though, she's amassing good old stolen credits and street cred so that when she reaches out to the Crimson Terror, they'll listen to her. She has some sinister plans ok. Just go with it.
Anyways, she's been dressing up in some nice sexy black robes with a hood so that no little slayers will see her out on the street. That's what she's wearing now when she hears the oh so familiar grunting of her favorite boy. She slips around the corner to watch him in the alley, killing some monster bitches. And frowns, because ew she doesn't want to touch them and get diseased. Being human is a hard life some days. Anyways, she just draws her hood back and folds her arms, speaking up.]
There's a faster way to do that, you know.

When he turns to face her, his blade drops to his side and she gets his grim, stoic and broody expression.]

MOTHER FUCKA FORCE LIGHTNING arcs out and fries those kittens to a crisp. Maybe some of them were actually kittens.
She is not a nice person.]

[She'll step over some... ashen rakghouls, lifting her robes up so they don't get all grossified and come into his broody bubble.]
You should be channeling all those feelings you're bottling up. Using them. Otherwise, at the wrong time, wrong place... [She gives a casual snap of her fingers over her shoulders and... the rakghoul trying to sneak up behind her is surprised when his head explodes. With a squishy pwlick noise.] They'll burst out.

It's not about what I want, Angelus. [She even manages to sound s-so sincere] It's about what we both need.

And that was another problem entirely. He knew he shouldn't be listening to Darla like this. He shouldn't be letting her boss him around. These weren't the ~good old days~. But there was something about being with her that was ... comfortable, and he would only allow himself to admit that because she had a soul now. She was like him. He had to stay with her so he could save her.
Even though it kept feeling like it was the other way around.]
I'm fine. I'm ready. I've been ready.

I think we've both come a long way. [Her eyes rake over the corpses lining the alleyway. Internally, she can't help the swell of satisfaction - the way he's hewed through the line of rakghouls shows just how violently his emotions are raging inside of him these days. He has to get it out somewhere, but nothing will ever quell them as long as he's invested in that dark side of himself. They'll keep him angry, and sharp, and dangerous, those emotions forged out of the weaker fear and guilt that they both otherwise have to fight to keep down.
It's just where she wants him. Even if he does go see Buffy, it isn't likely to end well, not with him in this sort of state.]

This thing's still killing me, Angelus, and unless we find a way to-- [Her voice turns bitterchans] Unless we get strong enough to use these powers to fix it, it won't matter how hard I'm pushing myself.
Nothing will matter.
