"I'm right here, Jack. There's really no need to yell." Ianto replied while coming into the room behind him after hearing the shout. He had been trying to read something, but apparently Jack had gotten bored. "What stuff do I need to get exactly for this outing? It's not going to be for something weird, is it?"

"Well, I didn't see you, so of course I'm going to shout," Jack replied as if this were the most obvious thing in the world. Jack shook his head, looking at Ianto as if he were an idiot for questioning him on this. "Coat. Hat. Gloves. Whatever you really need to go 'out'." Jack harumphed. "And why the hell do you automatically think it's going to be something weird?"

"Well, because it seems like most times we go 'out' something weird ends up happening. I'm not sure what you've got planned so I wanted to know what you expected me to wear. No need to get testy with me." Ianto replied, moving past Jack farther into the room, grabbing his coat and looking expectantly at Jack. "So, do I get any sort of clue as to where we're going? Or do I have to wait until we're there to find out?"

Jack shrugged. "Yes, and when we go out, it's usually back in Cardiff which, if you haven't noticed, tends to be the capital of 'weird stuff ends up happening.' Furthermore, I'm not testy... I'm looking forward to this." More like he was giddy, but he certainly wasn't going to tell Ianto that either. "Well... I probably should give you some sort of a clue since I have no idea where to go." Jack cleared his throat, rubbing the back of his neck. "Know... any, uh, suit shoppes around here by chance?"

"Well, yes I know that. Though I think being here kind of lends itself to being slightly weird as well." Ianto wasn't quite sure that he wanted to know why Jack was looking forward to this...it seemed a bit strange him wanting to go out all of a sudden when they hadn't really done much of that while here. Though suddenly quite curious as to what Jack had in mind when he brought up suit shoppes.

"I, uh, only know of one suit shop that has a look to what I'm used to in my clothes. It's not too far." He replied. "Though, are you going to tell me more about this outing or are you going to keep me guessing until later?"

"It's just in the realm of only slightly weird as opposed to being absolutely and completely weird. Though it's only just a bit weird I must say -- it's nowhere near as weird as going to Rexaphalius I must say. Damn. Now that was a weird place. Everything what phallic and I do mean everything."

Jack grinned, dropping his arm around Ianto's shoulders and the expression on his face could only be considered impish. "Well, I don't think there is much to say about where we're going. I'm suggesting we go to a suit shop. What more do you really need to know?"

"I just...I don't even know what to say to that. I don't think I really *want* to know about that place."

Ianto glanced at Jack, rolling his eyes at his expression...having a feeling he knew where this day was going. They'd gone on enough 'shopping trips' in Cardiff for him to be a bit wary at what Jack would want to get up to while out. "I'd like to know what you're planning on doing in said suit shop besides looking for a suit. I know you, Jack Harkness. You never just want a simple shopping trip, even if that's what you tell me at first. You always have some sort of ulterior motive."

Jack gave Ianto his best impression of a pout as he looked at the other man. Well, this was decidedly beyond not fair. Jack stuck his lower lip out just as far as it would go, decidedly offended that Ianto would do such a thing as suggest he had an ulterior motive for a shopping trip.

"I'm... I'm wounded," Jack said, shoving his hands into his greatcoat pockets.

It didn't matter if Jack did have an ulterior motive, he just didn't want Ianto to know that and he didn't need Ianto to know that either. Hmph.

"I simply wanted to take my partner out for a simple shopping trip," he said, deciding on 'partner' rather than boyfriend. Boyfriend always sounded so juvenile to him. "Why on earth would you think I'd have an ulterior motive like wanting to see how quickly I can get you out of the new suits? I mean, I'd never do a thing like that!"

Ianto glanced at Jack, noticing his pout. He rolled his eyes and gave him one of his *looks*. One didn't have to be a genius to figure out that comments like that made Ianto know that there were definite other plans for this outing in Jack's mind that he probably wouldn't share until they actually reached the shop.

"Hm, I wasn't exactly thinking that specific thing happening, but thanks for letting me in on *that* plan, Jack. And really, you'd never do that? I can think back to a few different occasions during shopping trips in Cardiff where that exact thing happened. So are you actually planning on behaving yourself this time around, or can I not trust you when we go clothes shopping together?"

Dammit.

There were or weren't extra plans for them when they were out shopping but that wasn't for Jack to say right now. He just... wanted to have a good time out with his partner -- what was the problem with that!?

"You're quite welcome. And I'm not saying if that is going to be for sure happening of course, but it is a definite possibility, however." Way to go Jack and being purposefully vague. "I, also, am not going to tell you if I'm going to be molested in one of the closets or not. That's for me to know and you to find out later." Jack wrapped his arm around Ianto's shoulder, ushering him toward the door.

Ianto gave a slight sigh and let Jack lead him towards the door. Stopping him before they could leave. "If we get kicked out of the only suit shop that I actually like here, keep in mind that there *will* be consequences to that happening. This isn't like Cardiff where's there are other shops we can go to instead."

He kept his gaze settled on Jack, making sure he knew that Ianto meant what he'd said. He was quite sure that Jack wouldn't like the consequences that there would be if they were kicked out of the shop.

"ooooh. Consequences," Jack said with a bit of a smirk. "I'm either going to like or NOT like the sound of that and I'm really not sure which one it's going to be either," Jack continued, scratching his chin with a thoughtful sigh. "Given the expression on your face -- I'm going to go with 'not' like if I were a betting man."

Jack may have liked to screw around, but when it came to Ianto and his suits, Jack also knew better. He wasn't going to jeopardise either his sex life or seeing Ianto in fine wools.

"Scouts honour, I'll be good. Really." Jack leaned in, stealing a quick kiss. "I'm going to be good. I promise. Now... lead on. You know where we're going, not me."

"Well, you'd do quite well as a betting man, since you're quite right."

Ianto gave Jack a slight smile at his promise to be good, the kiss was too quick for him to reciprocate. He'd see how long Jack could actually keep up on that promise later on, once they were actually in the shop and Jack was faced with him modeling suits for him.

"Alright, let's head off to the shop. Also, if you do keep your promise of being good you might just be rewarded for your good behavior later on." Ianto said, giving Jack a quick wink before heading out the door, expecting Jack to follow.

It took all of Jack's self-control to keep from rolling his eyes at Ianto. He wasn't thinking about Ianto and modelling the suits to be honest, at least -- he was trying to not to think about it right now. Otherwise, well, Jack would be breaking his promise to Ianto almost immediately.

"Rewarded for good behaviour you say?" Jack asked, his hand sliding down to Ianto's back to rest on Ianto's ass. Well, it was as good of a place as any to keep his hand, wasn't it?

Jack was an ass, but he was also a very horny ass as well. He followed through the streets, waiting for Ianto to remove his hand (he knew it was only a matter of time) and hummed approvingly when they reached the shop. I'm a dead man.

"So... this is the place...?" he asked, coughing to hide the catch in his throat.

"Yes, rewarded for good behavior." Ianto bit back quite a lot of things that he wanted to say to Jack when he felt the hand rest on his ass as they made their way to the shop. He'd give Jack this small amount of time to act like that, hoping Jack would actually take what he said seriously once they got inside the shop.

"Yes, this is the place." Ianto said quickly, trying desperately not to think of how Jack's hand on his ass the whole way through the streets to the shop had been getting to him. He walked quite quickly into the shop, hoping Jack would get the hint to actually behave once he followed Ianto through those doors.

Maybe he would and maybe he wouldn't. And, well, Jack's hand may have been on Ianto's ass, but Ianto wasn't the only one affected by it either unfortunately for them both. And now, he couldn't fucking do anything about his decidedly not so little problem.

Definitely not 'little'.

"Fuck," Jack muttered under his breath, entering the shop behind Ianto. He waived over one of the clerks, instructing him on what he thought Ianto should be wearing. Then he paused, looked at Ianto sheepishly. "Unless, of course, there's something you'd rather?"

They were for Ianto, he probably should let the other man pick them out...
