Hatter swayed only a little as his hand rose open to order another heavy shot of something more than its fair of strong, but it was enough to make the tiny green dog thing yip, as Dinoh leapt out of his lap and started drinking the new shot as soon as it had arrived.
Hatter swore, batting him away, "Oy! That ain't yours-!"
Dinoh growled, revealing eight rows of incredibly sharp teeth.
Hatter whistled lowly, "Alright, that one can be yours," he pointed in what he hoped was a stern fashion, "And no more. You're at your-" he burped, "-at your limit."
He ordered another drink from the barkeep, wondering how many it was going to take until he was able to believe Alice when she said things would be alright.
