Good times in the Mid-West
Just a few more days of this Mid-Western adventure of mine. It's been fun but it's about time for me to go back to my bird-sized mosquitoes and poisonous critters. Michigan is not the place for a little Southern boy like me, nor Indiana.
I guess I should elaborate on what my "adventure" consists of. About 2 weeks ago I jumped on a Greyhound headed for Michigan to come rescue that girl whom I've given my life to. And despite my distaste for mass transit it was well worth it. The trip put a nice grand in my pocket after working security a straight week at the Monroe County Fair. Basically a paid excuse for a farmer's tan.
Soon after Becca and I headed for Indiana, where her father's side of the family lives. Hasn't been that bad of a time actually. Not including the little family reunion I had to pop in on at her grandparents. (Oh how old people freak me out) I actually got to meet Cyn, which was hardly as horrible of an experience as I was expecting. Girl actually put up with me, and she's entertaining to say the least. (Even if she is grumpy the majority of the time. Cheer up Cynsa!)
We're heading to Kim's wedding reception tomorrow afternoon around 3, crashing for the night and waking our happy asses up around 8 in the morning to head on home for the greatness of LA.
God I miss home... incredibly.
I miss the guys, no matter how stubborn they're being right now. I miss Cajun food... and 113 degree weather all day long.

Anyway, there's my update, even if I don't have the new icon like I wanted. THAT my friends is soon to come!
