Officially out of PT...now what?

Last night of physical therapy yesterday. Knee is much better. Only a bit of tweak with one particular movement. Not sure how others put on their socks. Whether sitting or standing, I cross my leg over, as you might if you were sitting, making a 4 with my legs. I can't do that without some pain but that's improving.

What did she say about my back though? Sigh. Boils down to my back being a chronic problem and there's probably no real need for me to keep coming to PT as long as I keep doing my exercises at home. Granted I don't get the therapeutic massage at home, but even though it feels very good, I don't think it helps much. Well, when she works a lot on the psoas muscle, I feel good for about a day.

My next two steps are balance ball time and Rolfing. The latter is a bit more 'energies' related than I normally go for but I have a friend who swears by this and she's not into 'new agey' type things. I tried the balance ball last night at PT and was surprised at how quickly I was feeling it work my abs. Look for a report back in maybe 2 months or so to hear about improvements or, more likely, injuries from falling off the ball! Hee hee
