Roasting's actually easier than most people make it out to be. I was terrified the first time I tried it but any meal that involves "stick it in the oven at X temp for Y time, coating the skin with salt/oil/both and stuffing with anything that takes your fancy if desired" is actually kind of hard to screw up.
One day, if I ever have an oven big enough, I am going to try turducken.
