01. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
02. I respond by asking you five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not so creepy/personal.
03. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
04. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
05. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
1. If someone told you you had to get a tattoo on your genitalia, what would it be? (And no happy face! xD)
Well I'm done with tattoos until I am married and get one with my wife, but that's not the point. I probably would try to get something really small just because I don't want to be one of those crazy tattooed people that everyone stares at (not that anyone would stare at my crotch). I would probably get a small capricorn there, not because I'm overly spiritual or like horoscopes, but I still was born in that time period.
2. What works for you to squish relationship doubts?
Admittedly, I feel that there are always doubts of some sort, either due to a significant other's past relationships, or one's own lack of self confidence. I try to just get to know as much about someone as I can while I am with them, in order to be able to trust them and know how someone is acting and realize if it's different. That allows me to push doubts to the back of my mind where hopefully I don't have to think about them.
3. What's the toughest thing you've ever had to go through in a relationship?
I'm not entirely sure about this. If you ask me again in a month I'll be able to say that it's going away for D-Term because I will be in Australia and will only be able to talk to Maggie every now and again.
However, presently, I think that it may have been this past summer. Maggie and I were broken up for most of the summer due to some differences between ourselves and I could never manage to accept the fact that we were not together anymore. Therefore we still talked and hung out a lot even though I knew that I was supposed to get over her. But in the end it worked out :-)
4. Why did we never hang out more?
Personally, I think it was a mix of things. Besides the basic chemistry classes, we both had different interests. I liked video games and computer stuff and therefore usually stayed in my room, whereas you enjoyed doing a lot of different activities around campus. So our schedules kind of clashed becuase of that.
On top of that, I think it was a double jealousy kind of thing. You were with Adam and I have had my girlfriends (Ryan and Maggie) and I think there was probably an underlying thing with not wanting to make people jealous (at least that's what I'm telling myself when I think about the question).
5. Where did "The squall" come from?
Heh. So in 7th grade (yes, 1999) I played this game called "MechCommander" on an online service known as MPlayer. I ended up playing it so much that I tried to become a moderator-type person on the service. One of the names that I ended up using a lot at the time was "Squall" because of Final Fantasy VIII. So these moderators that I hung out with online all had their "incognito" screen names in which they used the word "The" and then their nickname.. So one name that I remember standing out is "The Kevlar" for one of my friends. So in suit, I made a name "The Squall" and it's just stuck with me since then (yes, I've had my AIM sn for 8 years)
