I'm sorry little Journal. I'm the worst updater in the WORLD.
Lessee, all the things that have happened in the past 7 years, or however long it's been since I last updated.
Firstly,
I'm pledging Kappa Kappa Psi (National Honorary Co-Ed Band Fraternity) and it is going very well. I love my pledge class (Alpha Gamma) and can't wait to see what the rest of the process will bring us.
Second,
Steve and I have officially split... I think. We're both doing fine, don't freak out. We're still best friends and nothing will ever change that.
Third,
I kinda met some one... hehe
Fourth,
I just got back from the first camp for The Jersey Surf, a Division II Drum Corps associated with Drum Corps International. (like I have to explain this, all of you people that read this drivel are band nerds anyway.) Anyway, so far I am a second soprano (trumpet) and I think there may be room for me to move up. When they listened to me play, they didn't ask for a demonstration of my range. It was kind of annoying, but they had a lot of people to get through. It's only the first week. I like the second sopranos anyway, so either way I'll be cool. Our show is the music of Moulin Rouge. "Nature Boy" is our opener and it's BITCHIN'.
Wish me luck, keep me going! Need all the support I can get!
Really tired now. I have school tomorrow, UGH. Thanksgiving break is such a tease. My "give-a-shite" levels are dangerously low.
