(no subject)
The past few days have been crazy like whoa... Friday consisted of work till close, which I think went till 11 or so... just to get back up to open on Saturday morning... Destynd played at Bubba O'Malley's Saturday night.. I still can't believe how talented these guys are and the fact that they went to the same high-school as me... I really do think they could be big if they left the musically craptastic state of Michigan. So yea, got to the bar at about 9:30... I told a bunch of people from work and friends, only 1 person showed up(more on that later)... Dani, who's a really cool friend and will be headed to Florida to attend a music college(yea for her) showed.... we stayed till 2... I wasn't sure how much I really I drank until I looked at my tab the next morning... 2 beers an hour is good right? I could also figure from my tab that Dani had about 6 drinks, since 4 I bought... Basically, we were trashed... both made it home safe and sound and I had the pleasure of being back to work at 11am Sunday... I looked & felt like COMPLETE hell... Monday, more work... thankfully it was only 4.5 hours and only had to deal with customers for 3.5 of those hours...
I downloaded most of Tool's Lateralus album tonight... mainly because I liked the song Schism. So now I'm listening to the whole album and I really like it... hot damn.. Looks like I need to get paid so I can make a purchase... That, and I need to save up for a bachelor party on the 21st and a trip to St. Louis for the wedding on Sept 4. Of course, the bachelor party is gonna be in Winsor... so an American quarter will get what, like 4 lap dances for the bachelor...
Josh is in Davenport... Iowa.. yea, I know. He's enjoying it out there I guess though. 31 Master Degree credits at a Chiropractic school. I don't know if I would... Scott's gone on a sailing race from Detroit to Mackinaw(I think), and he's gone till Thurs or so. Which has left me with little social life outside work...
I've been mulling over my "friends" list in my head lately. Who really are my friends, who are the people I'm acquaintances with. It even seems like most of my cliché from high-school has moved to that acquaintances list. For once though I'm not really down about it. Just kinda like, eh, whatever...
West Wing marathon on Bravo... don't worry though, I balanced the smart wit of that show with some T&A of WWE Raw on Spike TV too.
