You need to have the mirror universe evil twin beard and a cape, at minimum. All the best villains have a black cape.

I prefer to view such situations as protagonist/antagonist, and then it is all about your point of view which is which. You can be the hero in your own story AND be the villain in someone else's, and both of you be right. Of course, this makes a happy ending for both an exceedingly difficult thing to find.
