One of the Horde
I went to dinner last night with the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the Theatre Dept. Chair, and a number of other faculty and staff members - part of a "CAS Connects" social before they went and saw A Midsummer Night's Dream.
An innocuous question about the pups turned into me pulling out my phone to show pictures...
...and then there were EIGHT iPhones making the rounds (at a table of 11), with folks showing off their favorite apps.
Remember when you first got to college? You thought you were the Only One (for whatever reason - me, it was the gay thing), then realized very quickly you were fucking surrounded.
I feel that way - but now a bit worried about becoming Assimilated.
