Wherein Geoff just gives the fuck up

Upside to today's: I actually received a callback from Phillips before the expiration of their allotted time - "Erin" called me to tell me that I had been approved for a replacement.

Downside: Phillips again proves how completely fucked-up they are, and how little they care for their consumer. You see, they won't actually put in the order for the new TV until I have my OLD TV back in my possession. And then it takes TEN FUCKING BUSINESS DAYS for me to get it. Of course, those TEN FUCKING BUSINESS DAYS dont' start until I call them back and let them know that their service center has redelivered the dead TV to me - which they, supposedly, have five business days to do. Because the shipping company bringing me my new TV will pick up my old TV at the same time. This makes sense, but it potentially adds another THREE FUCKING WEEKS to this process. And, again, I'm speaking with someone new who has no idea how much bullshit I've had to wade through to get to this point, so yelling and screaming ain't gonna do one goddamn iota of good. And, since they refuse to do anything until I have the old TV back in my possession, I can't argue anything at all. At all.

My TV went down May 10th.

It looks like I'll receive my replacement somewhere around September 23rd.

...I'm just done.
