Cute, or too cute?
I woke up this morning with an inspired idea whose time may not yet have come: A Barack Block Party on the closing night of the Democratic National Convention. Menu themed on the various places and countries that have influenced our next President.
Kansas - I'm thinking Kansas City-style barbecue; ribs or somesuch.
Indonesia - a curry of some sort? I'm not too familiar with Indonesian cuisine, but I'm sure I can pull something together.
Hawaii - poi, pork, or spam musubi
Kenya - kunde (black eyed peas and tomatoes)
Chicago - brats/sauerbraten
So, I ask - cute? Or too cute?
