Well, that was easy.
Got today as a paid Personal Business day.
They're asking me to bring in the "very painful" car repair bill as proof, which shouldn't be a problem. I'll be carrying that around for a while, brandishing it as proof not only that I couldn't make it to "work" today,but also that life abso-fucking hates me.
Obviously the Manager on Duty doesn't get a list of folks' quit dates, since she asked if I could come in for a half-day.
"I'd hate to see you burn a full day of PB if you don't have to..."
I, wisely, just told her my car wouldn't be ready until five or six, rather than asking if I could burn a combination of PB and holidays so I didn't have to come in at freakin' all.
