I'm officially a college student, and I..am...LOVING IT. I spent the entire day yesterday driving around Sharon saying godbye to people. I ended at Jess's when I found out a friend of mine was at my house, and had been there since like 9:30-ish talking to my mom. In any case she called me and I left Jess's saying goodbye to everyone until about November.
It's amazing what you find out about your car going 125 on the highway. I think my car was actually hovering for part of the trip. In reality I did get home in about 15 minutes, which for even me is fast. I said goodbye to my friend, you know the whole tearful, emotional thing. Then I spent until about 2 in the morning packing the last of my stuff, and got 4 hours of sleep.
The drive down here wasn't bad, it was the lugging of ALL THIS STUFF. I'm in a single, but there's definetly enough food in here to feed a small army. My parents left after a LONG while of setting stuff up, connecting, spacing, etc. The thing is, I don't feel any different. I guess it hasn't hit me yet that I'm actually gonna be living on my own and depending on myself for the next four years. It'll probably hit me tommorow when I'm foraging through the dresser full of food, and I have no one to fight with for control of the TV. Eh, either way's cool with me. I'll probably feel different tomorrow, but until then...I'M IN COLLEGE BITCHEZZ!!
