That seems to be going around. Does anybody know anything about these things? Other than the whole they're magic and people can see what you write and write you back?

Not much. There's the standard information about the inability to get rid of them no matter what you do, but nothing about where they came from or why we have them outside of the message on the book itself.

Some of us are looking into it, though. Still coming up empty, as far as I can tell.
