What exactly am I supposed to do with a dog? It has too much energy. The thing has even tried to relieve himself on my secretary's plants... If he tries that again, I'll just leave him outside in the cold ( Read more... )

Moonshine. It's the cure for the common energetic animal.

You're joking, right? The last thing I need is a drunk dog running around the office.

If you get him drunk enough, he won't be running.

Yeah, he'd be stumbling and vomiting all over the room... Do dogs vomit?

Of course they vomit. Just stick his head under a bowl. Or put him outside. Get him knackered and he won't run off, just lie about.

I don't know who this John is, but if he wanted his dog safe and not knackered, he should be watching it himself.

I'm sure he would be if he could, but his work is surely more demanding than mine. I'll probably just give the thing a tranquilizer or something.

Well, that's why I said moonshine. You drink enough of that and it might as well be a tranquilizer.

What could be more demanding than doctor, anyway?

Well, unfortunately I don't have any moonshine on hand.

He's a cop, so he isn't able to sit around with and injured puppy all day.

That's disappointing.

Doctor is way more demanding than copper.

What would it say if I had alcohol sitting around the office? Besides, I've never been much of a drinker.

I definitely agree, but this doctor doesn't have to move around as much as a copper.

It would say that you have one hell of a job.

Oh yeah. You're the head shrinker of the dame doctors, right?

What is it you people do, anyway?

We talk to people, help them figure out their problems, and help them move past it, hopefully for the better.
