Since everyone seems so fond of doing these kinds of exercise, I figure I should ask a question of my own. How much time do you spend reading this every day? Do you read it only a home or do you take it to work also? Has it affected your efficiency or put you at risk of losing your job ( Read more... )

I certainly wish I had more time to look at this, becase it seems like a fascinating way to acquire insights about my fellow city-dwellers.

Work seems to get in the way.

I can understand! My work has allowed me a few moments here and there to look through it, but I usually have to wait until the evening if I want to actually have a conversation with anybody.

I tend to glance over it when I am eating, in the morning, and when I return from work. It seems like people have made friends through this device; I wish I had time to cultivate such a relationship.

It does seem odd to make friends with a person you have never met face-to-face, though.

I can't say that don't prefer the more traditional means of meeting and getting to know people, but the book has become rather invaluable to many people. I couldn't speak on it's success at that, other than by observation.

I suppose I must agree with you, seeing the success of the devices. I do not know if "invaluable" is quite the word, though.
