Happy New Year everyone. I hope your parties are swell. I'm staying in but I can hear my neighbors having a hell of a time.

Out of curiosity, how many people plan to have and keep New Year's resolutions?

Mine is to get more involved. I feel as if I haven't done anything worthwhile with my life so it's time to change that.

Nothing at all? Really?

Maybe I should have worded that as 'I haven't done enough.'

Do you have any plans on how to do more?

Not a clue. I'm going to try to figure it out soon.

Thank you.

What about you?

I don't feel the need to do something like that, no.

That's good though. If you're happy with yourself then there's no need to try and change something.

I suppose. It all depends on if you can change something.

That's true too. Is it that you can't or that you don't want to?

Me? I really don't have anything to change! But to even think on making a resolution, I hope the person remembers that.

Of course. I think that there are some things that not only can be changed but should. Hopefully people know the difference.

Hopefully, people won't wait until New Years to change those things.

Right. I think for me it was coming back home more than anything.

Why so?

When I was away I saw a lot of things that I thought was wrong with the world, as well as things that were too beautiful to describe, but because I was away I kept saying things like 'This isn't my world' or 'It's not my place to complain'. The fact is though that it's not perfect here either and if I can't even bring myself to do something about it here where I'm home then something is really wrong with me.
