Saw this when I woke up this morning.  Absolutely stunning for a plant that was just planted last fall!

So pretty! It looks like a columbine's cousin...what is it?

It's called Crossvine. It's a wonderful plant for either sun or shade here, but it does best in part sun, part shade. :)

Do you know if it likes pots at all? I don't have ground =)

It's a vine, and pretty fast growing, so as long as you have a large pot with a trellis in it that should be fine. They have a ton right now at http://www.naturalgardeneraustin.com/ and they're all in bloom.

Hmm. I think I'll stick with my veggies and herbs for now and add this one to my "when I have a yard" list =)
