so i just wrote a huge entry and deleted it. stupid in-firefox confusingness.
anyway
last night was the welcome back party for the department, and it was amazing. it reminded me why i'm really glad i'm here, and how much i like the people in my class. and how much i missed everyone this summer. they're just all really cool. and i really like them. so that was really nice. also, all the new freshman seem cool, and i know them all already. i'm really excited to be back in boston, and back in school, and everything else.
also, my apartment rocks my socks off. everything fits perfectly in my room, my roommate is amazing, it's good times all around. i'm really happy with it.
too bad the nation and world are going to shit. if you didn't hear, rehnquist died last night. yup, 2 supreme court spaces to be filled by our darling president. maybe congress can put off confirmation until 2008. oh wait, they're republican. awesome.
and, you know, the other thing.
