(no subject)
So, with my haircut, my hair looks better curly (what's new though?). It frames my face nicely. :)
Moving on, school was long again today. Mr Goeb (pronounced Gabe) wasn't do bad today. Drama practice went well. I like the one-act better now that we've actually gone through it. I went to Goodwill to look for something I could use as my angel costume to no avail. I went to church, had quite a nice evening, met some nice middle schoolers (since they are with us til we find a new middle school minister) (THREE were named Andrew... creepy) and a nice new guy named TC that's a senior at Brandon.
I had my first car death this evening. Yea, I was on Parsons and had just crossed Wheeler, and the car died and coasted to a stop. Yea... thought I had enough gas to keep me going for a while. Still do. I think the gage is off or there might be something else wrong. *shrug* Arpie came and got me, he started the truck up and drove it two blocks to the gas station on MLK and Parsons (now why wouldn't it do that for me?! I tried like three times!). I put a full tank in and it seems fine now. Hurrah.
School in the morning. Bah. Will I get more than 4 or 6 hours of sleep tonight? (6 is what I got last night. GRRRR.)
What else... ummm. Yea... can't remember. As of January 1st I have been getting back into the habit of quiet times with my new book I got for Christmas. I figured it was about time I started getting back in touch with God, seeing as how I'm in the count down phase of senior year, finishing up applying for scholarships and schools, need to choose a school and find money to attend it, get some direction and instruction into my life. And, I want to be a better sister to Mathew and Joseph. They need guidance. Guys, please, please, please be praying for them. They are really not in great situations at the moment, especially Joseph. I need to be a better witness to the people around me, to my family, just a better person in general. I've got big stuff going on and I need to make sure I'm not the one flying this plane.
Anyway, yea, prayer for me, the brothers, the McMickle(sp) family, and anything else I don't know about. You guys shout out prayer requests as you need them. I'll do my best to remember to pray for them.
