Larry looked at himself in the mirror in his dorm, raking a hand through his hair quickly to make himself look presentable. After a few attempts to straighten it up (all were in vain), he shrugged and walked out of the Gryffindor dorm, heading for the Great Hall.

Once he arrived there, Larry spotted Alex. Or, at least, he thought it was Alex. They had never been introduced formally before, after all.
