I know the last thing you want is advice but I'm going to give it anyway. I don't care that she 'seems' better today. Take Maggie to an emergency vet. Do it as soon as you possibly can.
I wish I could afford to do that. :( I looked at one a few years back and in the reviews it was looking like just to be seen with little to no treatments they were charging $800. :o :o :o
well, how are you going to feel when you find out Maggie is REALLY sick? If you can't get an appointment with your regular vet then ask their office if they would recommend someone. PLEASE.
our emergency vet has done the same thing they're going corporate
call Vet back say you need one ASAP was told there would be one today see if you can push them she may have a food allergy that effects her are you always using the same food?
there seems to be a pattern periodic symptoms / recovery / recurrence and with cough
PUSH THEM!!! don't know if it will work but.... also is there another vet to use?
I'll ask the Goddess to watch over her Hugs for both of you!!
Her food hasn't changed for years. Different snacks. Well not sure if the one is changed or if it's just the packaging, but same company. I always look for the one with the least ingredients, aka real stuff.
I am less worried about the diarrhea then I am her respiratory issues. She seems a little perkier today.
Ah, the four-letter word that causes more four-letter words!
Also, I can empathize concerning gastrointestinal problems with nonhuman companions (albeit, I have to figure which one when it happens here...) Sometimes it's me (which is why I keep a canister of pet strength carpet cleaner in at least one cabinet/cupboard...)
You can find the stuff I have in your local chain grocery store (I use the stuff made by Woolite, can't miss it [the stuff has a photo of a kitten and a puppy together].)

I hope it's nothing major and she'll be okay.
