Loan troubles...again
Whilst on the one hand yes i have enjoyed my time at Sunderland Uni i can name one of the main reasons why im not staying to do a Masters degree next year in 3 simple words
The Finance Department
The most greedy, unhelpful and just plain fecking annoying people ive ever dealt with. Ok i'll explain...a few weeks ago i got a phone call saying "You fees are outstanding please pay them off soon". Since i didn't have enough and generally i can't give what i don't have, both me and the woman at the financial department decided i should pay 70% and pay for the rest when the rest of my loan comes out in april. Id just have to fill out a few forms to the finance board explaining my circumstances.
I thought that was the end of it, untill i got a letter yesterday saying "your fees are outstanding, we urge you please pay them off within the next 7 days, failure to do so will result in sanctions against your studies including a suspension from your course"
..and now im pissed. I phoned up the department again and despite saying i can't give money i won't have till April all i get is "Sorry i can't go against university policiy" in a very stuck up tone. So in the end im submiting more forms to the finance board since i apparantly failed to produce enough evidence to support my claim.
This the day after i find out i failed my Health and the social body exam i did last month. Id really like to know what the hell happened to my week...damn thing started off well with hospital visits to see cute baba's and 8 hour drinking sessions in the pub with Lex (don't ask..im still trying to work it out myself)
