I know everyone says this, but...
My dog is a freaking genius. After four days, she sits on command, goes potty on command, goes to the back door to be let out when she has to go (or whines if she's in her crate), and has pretty good recall off leash. All this from an eight week old puppy that I've had for under a week, who had absolutely no training before and was not even housetrained.
She still doesn't feel good, though. =( Poor puppy. I wish she'd feel better, I'm going to call the vet today to tell her how things have been going since her checkup.
I ended up deciding on the name Suka, because for some reason that's the name that suits her most. Don't ask me why. It's a sled dog name (it's apparently an Alaskan name, but I don't necessarily always trust the internet)
and there is absolutely no sled dog in this girl, though someone asked if she was a husky. >> Pretty small husky if you ask me.
