Last night, after having had the DVDs in my collection for about 8 months now, I decided to watch Blackpool and I have now come to this conclusion. It's fucking awesome! It's a murder mystery musical with a sordid love affair sub-plot. Oh, and David Tennant is in it too. With his Scottish accent. And glasses. And he eats foods in a very seductive manner (see userpic).
It's like Midsummer Murders meets Moulin Rouge! WHAT IS THERE NOT TO LOVE?!
The amount of times I gasped from sheer fan girl delight in the first 15 minutes alone was unreal! Especially right at the end of episode 1, and this little beauty came up

I think the Tennant fan girl is alive in me once again. I think I may need to revisit the epic mammoth Doctor Who viewing I had at the beginning of this year but had to end when Tennant naked came on screen and distracted me I just stopped. I may even have to watch all of Tennant's episodes in orders from his regeneration from Eccleston to the 10th Doctor to his 'death' when the new young whipper-snapper replaced him (I've not seen the new one, I'm still judgemental over it all. Or just start up where I left off? I don't know.
I'm now off to watch the rest of the series of Blackpool. In bed, with some ice cream. Yeah, my life may suck balls right now, but when there's Tennant involved it's sexy times all round!
