on the eve of my departure

fall tuition has yet to be paid. jp's grammy is ill, so petracca family fun is postponed. luckily, grady will be in queens when my flight arrives. i got a job, which is well paying & suited to my schedule, but requires driving in manhattan. enough screwed up NY chores.
i canoed town lake with erica yesterday afternoon. which was a nice way to spend my last days in town. except that my toes got burned.
