Update-ness
Umm.. yeah.. I wanted to update a while ago so now I probably won't remember what I was going to say but I'll try...
Let's start with.. umm football game on Friday. It was really cold and wet the whole time.. massive amounts of people leaving early to take PSATS and the guard didn't go so I was lonely on the bus :-/. We did have about.. 4 clarinets though? I guess it was ok.. I was really tired when I got home though and didn't get to sleep untill 12. So then saturday we had band practice 10-5. That was not all the great due to the *drama and I missed most of lunch so I was late back to practice but oh well. Andy is a pretty cool drill instructor taking over when eric had to leave. After practice my sister picked me and my mom up and we all went out to dinner at an undisclosed location because it my mom's birthday. She ended up taking us to the Bayou Cafe is Manasquan where my brother works. We got kinda lost and went the wrong way one a way street but it's all good. So for dinner I had some Alligator bites and Crab cakes. That was amazing food espcially with the tiger sauce. Then for desert I had this thing that had vanilla ice cream, bannanas fried in cinnamon and brown sugar, and it was all covered with a rum sauce. So when I got home from there around 10 I went to sleep shortly after. Sunday was the Jefferson competition so I had to wake up early again. When we got to Jefferson I found out that Stephanie was one of our escorts so that was pretty cool. Soo we practiced and such and there was more *drama. The show went pretty well but I know we could do better. It was also really cold up there but they have amazing scenery. Then we watched the other bands until awards but we couldn't hear much.. Highland Regional was definately cool though. So then we won first which is always cool. So then we went home and such and I was really tired and drowsy on the way back and my head was all stuffy probably due to the air pressure.
*drama: It has always been within my personality to avoid drama and to never get involved. I'm sure there are pros and cons of both but in not getting involved I don't develop enemies or hurt anyone. Besides, band isn't the place for drama and the only thing that should be focused on is having a great performance. If your head is full of negative thoughts you obviously can't focus.
Although all this drama did have a negative effect on me, it could not even come close to disturbing my happiness that I got from being with Tiffany. She's an amazing girl and I <3 her soo soo much.
