Did that really just happen???
If I were a therapist, I believe that I would call what happened last night between my brother and I... a friggin breakthrough!
I almost don't even believe that it happened, it's a haze...
A little backstory: my brother is the biggest Red Sox fan in the history of the planet. Holy frickers, I'm not even kidding. Last night was the big game: Red Sox vs. Yankees, so naturally we all settled into our game-day routine, I popped my iPod on, his wife laid down to take a nap on the couch, and he grabbed his beer and turned the volume up... wait-... I don't hear the game...
A moment later, a little tap on my shoulder, I unplug myself and turn to look, and he says: "Hey, let's watch that HIM dvd you got!" [Referencing HIM's new live dvd: Digital Versitile Doom]
I blinked a little, stunned. "But... the game is on..."
"It's TiVoing"

Another thing you should know about my brother: it takes a miracle to get him to listen to anything past 1979. He's a classic rock boy. He might LISTEN to something I like, one of my punk bands, if I make him ... but never voluntarily, he probably won't like it, and NEVER on game day...
And he was being serious! He took my DVD, set it up and started to play it, all while the Red Sox and Yankees are battling it out on the field! Holy frickers. And on top of that, he LOVED it, and he rocked right on out to it!
I thought maybe it was a dream... but I woke up this morning and the DVD is still in the DVD player...
