With the way society has been going it's very clear some brilliant women throughout history are simply ignored and dammit its just not right! In particular, the women I am referring to are Emily Dickenson, Sylvia Plath, and Terri Schiavo. I just can't express enough how much impact these women have had on my life even though I just recently heard of them.
I'll start with Emily Dickenson, simply by saying that woman is a genius, I mean there is no way to deny it, its true. I mean when I read her poetry it just spoke to me, it really did, I mean she was so smart she just knew her poetry would be world famous. How you ask? It's simple, first her letter to the world clear was meant just for me and you as she KNEW her family and friends would spread her work because she obviously has psychic abilities. Second and most significantly, if you stare at her poetry for hours while high on pot, her ghost will come out to you and say "I'm a stupid bitch" which I think stands for I knew my works would become famous.
Next and probably the most important would have to be Sylvia Plath, words just can't express how brilliant she is or even how masterfully she speaks in "The Sow". Some nights I just stay up and play that over and over again because it's just so good. She is a true role model for the feminist movement as she IS that sow that eats up the world taking over after that even farmer man slaps her! It's just like a dirty men schovanist to do that! what a FUCK! That's not even the best poem either, I truly think she understood what being a goth is all about with great poems such as "Cut" and various others like it where she expresses that desire to die and that the world is holding her back!
SHE'S SO SMART! I wish I could have married her instead of that bastard of a husband she had, I would have understood her and we could have killed ourselves together. It just kills me that there are horrible people out there that hate her, I mean I even heard about this awful SPOT group that wants to piss, shit, and vomit on her grave! Can you believe that?! After all she's done for the world?! and after having made her way into school curriculums, which was such a great step! Those people are the evil force in the world that tries to bring me down, take my lunch money, and spread (get this) POSITIVE ideas of the world!
Lastly there is Teri Schiavo, true she may not SEEM like a poet like the previous, but in her own way she was. The way she kept a strong face as the evils of the world tried to kill her just for being who she was, THAT is how she is a poet in her own way, the fact that she held strong to a belief. I really thought she was going to make it but it figures such a warrior as she was, she would attract evils such as Michael (her so called "husband", yea like I'll fall for that one Michael!) and those liberal activist judges! The only thing that keeps me going is knowing there are people like Teri's parents and of course those great Bush brothers who despite having no business in those affairs got involved! Oh and I can't forget civilian supporters who despite having "technically" no business in matters that had nothing to do with them got involved because it was their obligation! I only wish there were more nosy people in the world, to help save lives and not settle with the "law" handling it.
Anyways to wrap this up, I have to just say THANK YOU to you brilliant women who fought when no one else would!
