My final solution is to herd people lacking fluency in their native language into concentration camps, where they are forced to read Strunk and White's Elements of Style and *concentrate* on proper spelling, grammar, and language use. Interestingly enough, there is one person whose misspellings I don't mind, and even find amusing. Perhaps it's because I know that person actually knows how to spell, and just doesn't edit when typing fast.
