IN ADDITION to posting around on that forum, I've been visiting 'The Reptile Lady'(named Dawn) at our local petstore, and she gave me some wonderful tips that correlated to what the guys at the forum have been telling me. So, today, I bought my set-up, with the help of Dawn and my mom.
Here's the whole tank put together. I've still got some rocks from the pond to wash, and 'the perfect sitting log' to buy, but I'll be doing that tomorrow. I'll probably end up buying some food for the little fella' tomorrow, too.
I mostly took this picture to show the guys on the forum what kind of stuff I bought.
Here's the temp gauge. It's got a little probe that you can put on either side of the cage, cool or warm. It's raised since then, which is very good, actually.
So. EXCITED. I'm going to look at bearded dragons at a breeder's house tomorrow, hopefully.
