monsters in the road
man I have had the most overactive brain lately
Nevermind weird dreams. Random firing of neurons making me SEE shit and the inability to hold a coherant conversation with my mouth are what I'm talking about, but I think plenty of people get that now and then. It's not particularly distressing, but it is confusing sometimes.
I bent over to plug in my Gamecube yesterday, and I saw a little beige thing scurry under my desk. I actually looked under my desk, before I went 'oh'. I must have been thinking of something and my brain deverted to YAAAAY monsters~!
Same thing happens in half-dark this morning AND yesterday, I'm seeing little goggle-eyed beasts sitting in the road, under the tree, on my car. I should really draw them sometime, they're really adorable. Not so much when you can't turn on the porch light because it'll turn on the Christmas lights instead, so you have to walk in the dark through a willow tree. But still! Cute little buggers, a little blob of black with big wet, shiny eyes and tiny feets. They don't last but a second, but still.
