Fridays Make Life Wonderful...
It's Friday!
Now THAT makes me a happy man!
Sunsets are gorgeous, and this one is just breathtaking. On rainy days like this, all I feel like doing is sitting around in a pair of boxers, playing on the internet. And guess what I'm doing!
Mom called last night and wanted to know if I wanted to come home for dinner tonight, so Hannah and I are going to go hang out over there for a bit tonight. Hannah has to leave early in the morning to go play with the Concert Band at the SCMEA Convention in Charleston. I'll probably end up sitting around in my boxers all day, accomplishing small tasks that have built up over the past week, including sleeping! Going to the gym several times is another activity I have to get accomplished this weekend. Here at USC (south carolina; not southern california), we have this brand new fitness center: The Strom Thurmond Wellness and Fitness Center. *snicker* It's freakin' huuuuge, and it's got everything imaginable. It's one of the largest in the countries, I do believe. We even have to scan our hands to get into the building! It's waaay cool!
Lauren, the coolest chick at Tulane, just told me they had a guy overdose last night and they found him in his bed today. "Wonder if it is was worth it," she added as we discussed the high risk extracurricular activity taking drugs is. Being a music major is just as much a high risk extracurricular activity as using drugs. Such a bold statement typically requires explanation, but I'm going to leave it at that.
There's a new version of iChat out. Life is happier.
