I know, I know. I haven't written or posted anything recently, and I'm sorry. Had a winterguard competition this weekend and two long days of practice. Don't worry, we came in first place. =D So I finally got around to writing today:
Title: Perfectly Pink (Prompt 04 from my
table.)

Word count: 100 x 2
Disclaimer: JK owns them. I just play with them.
Author's Notes: Dedicated to
bonfoi for the prompt. I googled "bunny slippers" to find a photo for inspiration, and found a great pattern for
knit bunny slippers. I thought I'd share the link in case anyone out there is absolutely obsessed with knitting enjoys knitting like myself.
Draco Malfoy-Potter spends his weekdays as, what the Muggles would call, a Housewife. He cooks, cleans, and takes care of his three-year old daughter, Lily, while Harry is at work. Being an Auror puts Harry in a great deal of danger day-to-day, and because Draco often paces around the house worrying about Harry's well-being, he has taken up a new hobby to distract him: knitting. Which is why Draco can be found sitting in an old oak rocker in Lily's room knitting away as she lightly snores in the toddler bed to his right.. He tries to relax as needles clumsily split the loops of the fluffy candy-pink yarn.

Lily’s fourth birthday brings cake and ice cream and presents. Lily’s eyes shine as she opens Harry’s gift, a doll with red-hair and green eyes, which Lily promply names “Lucy.” Draco hands her a small pink box with a white satin bow. She un-wraps it carefully and pulls out two delicate pink bunny slippers. She giggles as she slips them on her feet, wiggling her toes as she shows Harry.
“Look, Daddy! Father made me some bunny slippers! Aren’t they beautiful?”
“Of course they are,” he replies. “They’re perfect for you.”
Draco leans his head on Harry’s shoulder and smiles.
