First check-in
Hi authors, it's already time for your first check-in! Checking in by filling out the below template in a comment is mandatory, which means we need to hear from you, or we'll assume you have dropped out. (If you have decided to drop out, we'd still appreciate it if you could send us a quick line so we know for sure and won't try to contact you to remind you of this check-in.) Still, it's just a check-in, not a draft submission, and all we need is a general heads-up. Let us know how you are doing! This is your chance to tell us if something is bothering you, if we can help you with anything, if the beta you had abandoned you and you need a pitch hitter, etc etc etc.
