'Camp Barakel...Camp Barakel...'
There is so much to talk about camp barakel...so much...
Where to Start? The Speaker was INCREDIBLE this year...wow...he really inspired me so much. He really taught me a lot, more than i've ever learned in the 4 years of going to my church..i know, sad isnt it? I even re-devoted my life to following God, and it made me feel really good...and im really tryin now..The second day the people who re-devoted themselves or just devoted themselves had a talk after discussion groups and it was cool...Andy Justin Eric and I all had a lotta questions that chuck did a great job answering...and we had some laughs too lol..Anyway, the first night we all went tubing and i got so beat that i could barely even feel my legs...it was loads of fun though. We went skating that night too, and it took me a couple times to actually find some good skates...so major blisterage...lol. But i'm gettin ahead of myself...the bus rides both ways were really fun i sat with Jessica most of the way up and then i sat with Andy most've the way back. I was tired and beat on the way back though so...i did a lotta nothin...But back to the camp...
The first full day was definitely the most fun like it always is..Went to chapel ate great food...But most of the day was devoted to Hockey and football. I'll start with the hockey. By this time I found some good skates, and all the other churches were there too, so they were huge hockey games...It was major fun. We then had the huge churches against churches snow football games. The funnest part of that though was gettin to the football field! All we did was tackle each other! It was one of the coolest parts of the day. And i got my lickins lol...I got a couple other people too pretty bad...It was so funny cuzz it seemed like every1 was gangin up on Liz when we tackled each other lol. Some more hockey...dinner..chapel filled up most of the rest of the night..I lost another glove at barakel :-( always at barakel...lol. After all this we had the last day of packing...and chapel and 2 meals...and we left.
I dunno i really really needed a weekend like that too just "replenish" myself...christian-wise and friends-wise...i needed a real fun time..and thats what i got, thats for sure...
After barakel..i went to my aunt and uncles for the super bowl. The game was GREAT, but the ads were only really mediocre...and the halftime show sucked except for janet jackson...haha...there i go bein a guy again.
We had a snow day today! Don't know why..but hey im not complainin...
