Woohoo!
I am the new LGBT Alliance Coordinator for WWU. I am really excited, but it means a busy schedule for the next week, as the quarter is winding down and the workload is increasing. I could and should get a lot of work done this weekend, ahead of time, but there is a huge problem: It's supposed to be about 80 degrees and sunny all weekend.
Today is spectacularly warm already, and it's supposed to get warmer. After all the dreary weather, all I really want to do is lounge in the sun and sip cold drinks. Could this warm spell have not waited until the second week of June when I have my freedom? I think it's really quite disrespectful of my needs. Anyway, I will have to discipline myself and crank out some work, because for a couple weeks, I will kind of have two jobs, interning with the people who will be vacating my future position, my current sucky job, and 15 credits of school.
I think today I'll work on whatever I can do away from the computer and in the comfort of a lawn chair outside.
