A year ago today.
A year ago today I was pretty nervous. I tried to play it cool, but I was kind of a wreck. So far, it turns out I was nervous for nothing. I could not have picked a better person to be legally bound to me. I am still as happy today as I was 366 days ago, so grateful to be married to my best friend, Andrew. He is the best friend, partner, confidant and husband a girl could really ask for, almost overly good. I am impatient, stubborn and moody, and he is so much more patient, giving and sweet than I deserve in return.
We're spending a simple day together, because money is tight. I want to go play Trivial Pursuit at the spot where we first met, then have dinner at our place. I hope he knows I love him more every day and more than anything else in the world, even without me having to spell it out. And, if not, I will try my very best to show him every day.
