My! There certainly is a lot of drama going on in the castle lately! All thanks to my sister and her cohorts, no doubt. In any case, I haven't had time to take most of it in, unless you count Millicent Bulstrode chasing Pansy Parkinson in the library with a rather large volume of difficult potions. I had hoped to borrow that one today, I think it was Asiatic Anti-Venoms, although I cannot be sure.
I have seen little of Draco Malfoy since our rather interesting encounter at the hands of my more delicate sibling, although I'm certain that he is quite a fascinating boy and if I had a spare second from my studies, I would likely spend more time with him or would attempt to do so, when that Fancy girl isn't hanging around. I feel as though I have only scratched the surface of his life, he seems like an individual with many distinct layers, which I find oddly appealing.
I've been spending much of my time in the library, I think midterms are close enough for those of us who care about our studies to be anxious, although perhaps it is just Hermione and me. Admittedly thought, I haven't noticed her around the library lately. I can't say that I blame her, with the way it has gone to seed, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone decided to leave Madame Pince. The poor dear must be getting on in years if she allows Bulstrode and Parkinson to carry on like that. I may have to find another spot to study, which is a shame, I have a reserved corner where the books are dusted frequently to combat my allergies. I would sorely miss it if I had to leave.
